About Us

We are an open movement of organizations from Latin America and the Caribbean, representing diverse sectors, working to ensure that the Internet remains open. The Internet is a fundamental pillar for the social and economic development of our region. It is a platform for innovation that enables access to fundamental rights and creates new opportunities for everyone on equal terms. It is a key tool for education, communication, health, entertainment, security, work, access to information, freedom of expression, among many other areas. It is essential for our region to continue developing sustainably, achieve meaningful connectivity, and ensure that everyone can participate, leaving no one behind.
We join forces to keep the Internet open, neutral, and resilient.
We stand for an Internet that is open and without restrictions, where all people in Latin America and the Caribbean can access, innovate, create, and share content, applications, and services under equal conditions, without discrimination or barriers.
We defend an open, unrestricted, and neutral Internet where everyone has equal access, the same rights, and the same opportunities to innovate, develop new initiatives, and be heard. Ensuring a plurality of voices and universal access—without blockages or discrimination—is essential for building a more just, free, equitable, and innovative society that generates greater benefits for all.
We work toward a secure, strong, and resilient Internet infrastructure.

We work for an open Internet in LAC
